9 Steps: How to make an EASY Taco Pizza w/ Video Tutorial (Ground Turkey or Shredded Chicken)

I started making this a few years ago and would bring it as my contribution to all the potluck-style gatherings. Trust me, it’s a hit, hit!

I remixed the recipe a bit, and now you have the instructions to make a ground turkey or shredded chicken taco pizza! Ohhhhh yeaaahhh!

The taco pizza takes about 20 minutes to make and is loaded with taco sauce, gooey cheese, red onions, and garnished with cilantro and green onions.

Ingredients

Ground Turkey Version

Crock-Pot Chicken Version

Pizza Dough

Pizza Toppings

Instructions

  1. Grease nonstick cooking pan and preheat oven to 400
  2. Choose the version you want to make; chicken or ground turkey
  3. Chicken Breast: Set crock-pot on high. Add chicken, seasonings, and salsa to crock-pot. Cover and let cook for 3 hours
  4. Ground Turkey: crumble meat into large skillet on medium heat. Add seasonings and cook meat until brown for 5-7 minutes. After browned, add taco seasoning and beefy lipton soup mix. Cook for an additional minute
  5. Cook pizza crust according to tube instructions; 8 minutes to start.
  6. Let cool for 2 minutes; spread taco sauce over crust, top with meat, diced tomatoes and green chilies, red onions, and shredded cheese.
  7. Put in oven and finish baking for 6-10 minutes; until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown
  8. Pull out of oven and garnish with cilantro and green onions
  9. Slice and top each slice with sour cream and Jalapeños
