There’s nothing better than a plate of well-seasoned Fried Green Tomatoes! I usually have to order Fried Green Tomatoes when I spot them on the menu at a restaurant. It was just a matter of time that I created a recipe of my own. So, delicious, so yummy, so savory, and salty. I love to eat Fried Green Tomatoes fresh out of the oil and dipped in some Hot Sauce! Fried Green Tomato in 7 EASY steps

Line large plate with Paper Towel; entire plate should be covered

Slice Green Tomatoes .5 inch thick or thinner depending on your liking; discard the ends

Mix dried ingredients in a medium bowl (seasonings, Flour, Yellow Cornmeal, and Cornstarch)

In a separate bowl mix wet ingredients (buttermilk and egg)

Heat 1/2 inch of Canola Oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat; until oil sizzles - about 2-3minutes (you can test by adding a small amount of dry mixture to skillet; if it sizzles it’s ready)

Dip 1 tomato in wet mixture and then dry mixture and add to skillet; repeat (do not crowd tomatoes in skillet. 4-5 per batch)

Fry for 1 minute at a time on each side; remove once golden brown 8. Take out of skillet with tongs or another safe utensil and place on paper towel
