Fried Buffalo Shrimp

I pretty much love anything that’s fried and drowned in buffalo sauce.  If you’re like me, then this buffalo shrimp recipe is for you.  The buffalo sauce is simply made of only buttle, a hint of vinegar, and Louisiana hot sauce.  You can use whatever hot sauce you’d like though.

  1. Peel and devein shrimp if necessary
  2. Rinse Shrimp with cool water; pat dry and add to a bowl
  3. Line a large plate with paper towel; entire plate should be covered
  4. Add seasonings to a bowl and mix together
  5. In a separate bowl add two eggs and milk, whisk together
  6. In a 3rd bowl add 1 cup of flour, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch; seasoning mix together
  7. Add a few extra shakes of season all, garlic powder, and lemon pepper directly to shrimp and toss; all shrimp should be covered
  8. Coat shrimp in flour, egg mixture, and more flour (shake off any excess batter); Set to the side

  10. Fry shrimp on each side for 3-4 minutes. Remove once golden brown; place on paper towel

Buffalo Sauce

  2. Add Louisiana Hot Sauce, white vinegar, and a few dashes of lemon pepper to saucepot; mix well
  3. Remove from heat after 2-3 minutes; set to the side
  4. Gently add fried shrimp to a large bowl and pour in the buffalo sauce
  5. Toss shrimp in sauce and enjoy
