Soulfood is one of my favorite cuisines, and eating collard greens is always a win for the family and me. I love this recipe because the collard greens are slow-cooked in the crock-pot. Just set it and forget it, and you can eat on this for a few days. Did somebody say “Leftovers”! Preheat Crock-Pot t to High Heat

Add seasonings to a bowl and stir until well mixed

Pour 2 cups water and 2 cups chicken broth in a bowl, stir

Chop and mix all veggies, including minced garlic in a bow

Layer the ingredients in the Crock-Pot: add a little liquid mixture, seasonings, veggies, 2 smoked turkey tails, and a handful of collard green, Repeat until Crock-Pot is full

Cover with lid and cook for 6 hrs; stirring greens throughout once or twice
